Corrections Policy

How AI Wire receives, reviews, publishes, and preserves corrections and meaningful updates.

Last updated: July 18, 2026

Our commitment

AI Wire corrects material factual errors transparently. Corrections should preserve accountability without silently rewriting the historical record. Minor spelling or formatting fixes that do not alter meaning may be changed without a formal note.

Request a correction

Email nemaux@a-i-wire.com with “Correction request” in the subject. Include the article URL, the exact passage or record in question, why it appears wrong, and evidence that supports the correction. Do not send confidential material through ordinary email.

Review process

  • The relevant source record and published claim are reviewed.
  • The editor evaluates whether the issue is factual, interpretive, incomplete, or a matter of disagreement.
  • When a correction is warranted, the article and its structured correction history are updated.
  • When no correction is warranted, AI Wire may still clarify language or add context if it materially helps readers.

How corrections appear

A material correction note states the date, identifies the corrected information, and explains the change. Update notes describe new information; they are not substitutes for correction notes. The original error will not be repeated when doing so would create additional harm.

Timing and escalation

No fixed response-time promise is published during this phase. Urgent safety, legal, or materially harmful errors receive priority. If a correction request raises a conflict of interest, review should be handled by an editor who was not responsible for the disputed passage when staffing permits.
